About this map

The Arizona Fab Supply Chain Map is the sourced, bilingual directory of the companies building Arizona's semiconductor supply chain — who supplies what, where they are, and where they came from. Free to browse, free to list, maintained in the open.

Since 2020, Arizona has attracted one of the largest concentrations of semiconductor investment in the United States, anchored by TSMC Arizona, Intel Ocotillo, and Amkor Peoria. Behind the fabs is a supply chain of chemicals, gases, equipment service, cleanroom construction, logistics, and professional services — much of it arriving from Taiwan, Japan, Korea, and Europe. No public directory tracked it in either English or Chinese. This map does.

What counts as "in the supply chain"

A company is listed when all three hold:

  • It plays a supply-chain role for semiconductor manufacturing, packaging, or test — materials, gases, equipment, parts, automation, facility systems, construction and hookup, logistics, or professional and government services aimed at the industry.
  • It has a physical Arizona presence or a publicly announced Arizona site or office.
  • That presence was opened, announced, or expanded in 2020 or later.

The anchor fabs themselves — TSMC Arizona, Intel Ocotillo, Amkor Peoria — appear as regional anchors, not as entries. Individuals and companies with only a sales representative and no site are not listed.

How statuses are assigned

Statuses are conservative. A company is "Announced" until a source says construction began, and "Under construction" until a source says it opened. We never infer "Operating" from a company website alone. When a company has several sites, the most advanced site sets its overall status, and each site carries its own.

Sources and corrections

Every entry carries at least one source, ranked: government or agency releases and company press releases first, then established press, then trade and brokerage pages. Numbers — investment, jobs, square footage — always cite the source they came from.

See something wrong? Company representatives can claim and correct their listing, and anyone can submit a company we're missing. Corrections are reviewed against sources before publishing.
